Intensive Study/Internships

Overview:

Intensive study allows a long weekend, week or several weeks of daily lessons, training and practice working one-on-one at my farm in Florida. Students receive private lessons, a variety of horses to practice with between lessons and are welcome to audit all local lessons and clinics. Bringing a horse is optional. Intensive study is “a day in the life” experience with a huge variety of learning opportunities and tons of personal attention. Studies and work are tailored entirely to the individual. Maximum 2 students at a time are taken for this type of education. Availability is limited. No pets allowed, other than horses. Horses must have current health certificate and proof of current negative Coggins test

If you cannot travel, then please refer to Clinics/Seminars, Camps or Video Coaching to gain instruction in your area. Check the Clinic Schedule to find out if any events are currently scheduled close to your location or visit Hosting a Clinic to arrange an event in your area.

Internships
The program is the same as Intensive Study, hosted at my farm in Florida, but the minimum time requirement is two weeks. The fee is reduced for students who are on a professional track in the horse industry and are willing to help with farm work. Those electing the “reduced fee” option will still receive the same amount of daily lesson time. This program rounds out the training education with farm work and working horse-care experience. No pets allowed, other than horses. Horses must have current health certificate and proof of current negative Coggins test.
