Each day is a series of private time slots so that each lesson can be uniquely tailored to the needs of both horse and rider.

For the Rider: Improve feel, timing and balance on a horse by understanding and experiencing the dynamic relationship between your body and the horse’s movement.

For the Horse: Improve the mental/emotional state of your horse while learning how their bodies really work. Understanding basic but essential facts about how the horse’s body functions allows you to navigate training techniques in a new light. The application of this information is unique to each horse but does allow all horses to improve how they move, how their bodies develop and the level of comfort in their work. The ideas have been successfully applied to horses with behavioral problems, horses with chronic lameness issues and in the development of performance horses. The benefit is learning how to develop a sound, healthy and happy horse for any type of riding.

Equine Imbalance

...."Many problems (of the horse) can be caused by unbalanced patterns of tension in the body"........
....."Uneven tension will often result in uneven body use, difficulty carrying a saddle and rider, stiffness generally 'through the back' or the body as a whole, behavioural problems etc..... " Gavin Scofield D.O.

Quote Of The Day

It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the horse bolts!
